University in Quebec or outside Quebec?
In Quebec, universities such as McGill, Concordia and Université de Montréal welcome French and Belgian students at quasi-resident fees: expect to pay around €7,000 per year, including compulsory fees. Courses are taught in French or English, the environment is cosmopolitan and the cost of living is reasonable for a major North American city.
In the rest of Canada, emblematic institutions such as UBC in Vancouver, the University of Toronto and McMaster apply the international scale, i.e. €25,000 to €30,000 per year depending on the course of study. Immersion is 100% English-speaking, and the campuses boast state-of-the-art infrastructures and an alumni network with a strong North American and Asia-Pacific focus.
