Oxford, Cambridge, the LSE and King's College London all promote a demanding intellectual training, a taste for debate, and a particularly stimulating interdisciplinary approach to the humanities and social sciences.

Studying in London or abroad?

The UK is home to over 160 universities, divided between prestigious London campuses and vibrant student towns elsewhere in the country. The choice often depends on your budget, your lifestyle and the type of experience you're looking for.

In London, institutions such as UCL, LSE, King's College or Imperial offer a cosmopolitan environment, a thriving cultural life and a dense professional network. But the cost of living is high: £1,200 to £1,500 per month.

Outside the capital, universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Warwick, St Andrews and Bath offer green surroundings, strong student cohesion and excellent academic traditions - often for a more reasonable cost of living (£700 to £1,000).
